Vellure was born from a legacy that began long before the brand itself.
Our journey started in 1968, when our family established the Vardhaman Group, pioneers in the textile industry of Surat, known for crafting and selling sarees of unmatched quality. For decades, we built trust through fabric, finesse, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

But as times changed, so did India’s relationship with traditional wear. Sarees gradually went out of rotation, and it felt like the right moment to reinvent, not to abandon our roots, but to evolve them.

In a city where most chose to compete on quantity, we chose the harder path, to compete on quality. Instead of cutting costs, we invested in the best. The finest looms, the most premium yarns, and the rarest fabrics that spoke of craftsmanship rather than compromise.

The result was something that instantly resonated our signature European linen. The overwhelming response to that single fabric made one thing clear: there was a new space waiting to be created -  one where everyday clothing could meet quiet luxury.

And that’s how Vellure came to life - a brand built on decades of textile expertise, driven by an obsession with detail, and defined by the belief that quality will always create its own demand.
